Do you ever feel like you should be doing something?
No, I don't mean one of those times when you walk into a room.
You know you arrived there to do something, but you then stop, look around the room, and wonder what the heck you are doing there..
That's either simple forgetfulness, the symptoms of stress, perhaps the onset of dementia - or perhaps it's someone else's house?
And no, I don't mean those times when you are waiting for something to finish, like that printout or that file you are downloading.
You are sitting there actively thinking that you could be doing something productive whilst you wait.
But you don't. Because in your own mind you already are doing something. You are actively waiting, aren't you?
I don't even mean those times when you see something unfortunate happening or you see an incident or accident about to happen.
You just stand or sit there and think about doing something. But you don't actually do it.
Someone else will probably do it, won't they? Of course they will. That's what other people do, isn't it?
No, I mean occasions when you get that sudden sense that what you are doing is not what you should be doing, not what you could be doing, and probably not what you want to be doing. It's doing my head in this doing of things and the feeling of doing other things.
Does it you? Do you ever feel like you should be doing something other than what you are doing?
Then, please, stop reading - go ahead and do it.
Just do it.
I won't be offended.
In fact, it'll mean I can just end this post here without having to think of any kind of punchline.
That's great, I appreciate it. I have one or two things to do myself, actually... now I come to think of it.

Blinkin' flip, Jonners. I wish you'd stop making me think. But yes, anyway. Yes I do.
I was trying to make people do. Well, you and the other one or two people who read this stuff.
Thinking so often prevents people from doing.
Sure, there are times when a good think is a good thing.
But everyone loves a good do, don't they?
