I freely admit...
(in the Grand Tradition of Rowley Birkin) that I may be just a little bit drunk - tipsy at any rate. I apologise in advance because if I don't do it now I'll either forget to do it at the end or I may be face down on my keyboard and unable to do so. In either situation, you won't receive any kind of apology. So here it is. I am sorry. There. Better. But I love you, I really do. You're my bestest mates, really.
I had a tough day today for some reason. Some things caught up with me I think. I sought solace in a walk with my adopted canine friend this afternoon and espied some amazing cloud formations. I wasn't tipsy earlier so I did manage to take a few photos of them. It was a very strange line of cloud that almost appeared to be a crest of a wave that was breaking in the sky. It also managed to snow a little underneath this cloud - which you can almost make out in the final photograph. Turning 180 degrees the sun was setting, creating an altogether different pattern in the sky. It has to be said that you may be forgiven for thinking that I might have imbibed more than enough to render myself incapable of taking a photograph earlier. But, no, that's my usual standard of photographic expertise. And I was stone cold sober, and cold to boot. Yes, really. Stone cold sober, who'd a thunk it?
There's also a photo of some cheesecake. Not related to my walk in any way whatsoever. It was from a family meal late last year.
The eagle-eyed amongst you no doubt have a little switch in the back of your necks to operate the direction of your gaze, but being eagle-eyed you might also have noticed that I put the same photo in twice in my err... erm... haste. Apologies..
